Good evening to all:
In the midst of all, I run to God, who is my fortress. God is my safe haven, a safe haven that is unfathomable. In the coming days, I am going to experience the most stressful week of the year, but with God…it becomes a humbling week rather than a struggle. I am so humbled by God’s grace and the abilities that the Lord has entrusted in me to accomplish the things I can in life. As I sit here today, the only emotion I have is humbleness. The fact that the Lord would sacrifice His son in the flesh and take the beating for me to be saved, is something I will never be able to comprehend. It’s only something that I can truly appreciate, rather than actually understand. When I begin to think about the complexity and struggles Jesus dealt with here, it simply humbles me and makes me feel so blessed to be able to live in a free-world. A world where I can write on a blog, text in a text, speak in a phone call, person to person, and etc, all by expressing my true love for the Lord and what the Lord has to offer!
I was reading in Psalms tonight and this passage simply struck me and it felt like it home for this world.
Psalm 83: God, don’t shut me out,
don’t give me the silent treatment, O God.
Your enemies are out there whooping it up,
the God-haters are living it up,
They’re plotting to do your people in,
conspiring to rob you of your precious ones.
“Let’s wipe this nation from the fact of the earth,”
they say; “scratch Israel’s name off the books.”
And now they’re putting their heads together,
making a plan to get rid of you.
It’s quite simply amazing that you could passage the same stanza in todays society. It’s fascinating that our life is so similar to ones of the times.
That’s just something for you to delve into deeper, something for you to take the time to look at.
I find it just so fascinating that things were so different in those days, but how the concepts remain the same. They may not have had technology, electricity, power, etc. But things were still the same as they are today. There will always be God-haters on this planet, until we Christians take the stand that’s necessary to impact the lives of others, we must do our part. We must talk to others, we must witness, we must go out of our way to do our job.
Why you may ask? Why bother helping a “God-hater”?
Here’s my simple answer,
Proverbs 22:4 – The payoff for meekness and Fear-of-God is plenty and honor and a satisfying life.
If we truly fear God, do as God tells us to do, our life will be rewarding on this Earth and in Heaven. Like in Ephesians when the Bible talks about whether you realize it or not, God is watching, God will reward you for all of your God works. You see, if you do your part, if you follow the commands of the all-mighty Lord, we WILL be rewarded in Heaven. What an amazing day that will be. I believe that as long as we follow the commands of our Master, we will forever be rewarded by His grace. We are forever in-debt to an all-mighty God. The maker of the Earth, the Universe, and everything that exists today. I thank Him for all that He has and will ever do.
Do you ever get that feeling that God isn’t listening to you? Do you ever get that feeling like, why do I even read the Bible because I can’t feel God? I’m sure you have at some point, that just means you’re lacking in your faith. I firmly believe that you have to start from scratch, you must simplify things if you’re ever doubting your faith.
Think of it like this,
- The Earth
- The Sun
- The Moon
- The Stars
- The Oceans
- The tide
- The temperature
These are a couple of things that have to be absolutely ideal for us to survive in a habitat such as Earth, in which we live on. How do you believe that the SUN ALWAYS rises, the SUN ALWAYS sits? God positioned everything perfectly, so we could live in this world. It’s not like Mars where at night it’s -232398 degrees and in the day 23498 degrees. God positioned the Earth exactly where we needed to be to survive and sustain our lives efficiently. Start from scratch. Start to think about the process of how a baby is born and how fascinating that is! God is so good to us. I am so humbled to think that God did all of this for you and I. He created this world so that we could live for His glory. What a blessing.
Then, after you think about of all these in-depth processes, realize this…Timothy 3:16- This Christian life is a great mystery, far exceeding our understanding, but some things are clear enough. He appeared in a human body, was proved right by the invisible spirit, was seen by angels. He was proclaimed among all kinds of peoples, believed in all over the world, taken up into heavenly glory.
AWESOME STUFF. Now ponder on everything, get to really thinking about how grateful we are of such an amazing Lord and Savior. Think about how blessed you really are. I love you all, God bless. Thanks for all the followers.
